Dr. Devine and the Northeast Ohio Urogynecology & Continence Center is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of care. He is a 1984 graduate of California State University at Long Beach, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in medical micro-biology. He earned his medical degree in 1992 from Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio, then completed his four year residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Akron General Medical Center. After finishing his residency, he went on to complete a three-year post-graduate fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at the University of California Irvine, College of Medicine, under Donald Ostergard M.D., one of the founding fathers of the field of urogynecology. Dr. Devine is the only three year fellowship trained urogynecologist in the Akron, Canton and Youngstown areas. Dr. Devine is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, Dr. Devine is also affiliated with the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He is a staff member and attending physician in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Summa Health System, Akron City Hospital, Akron General Medical Center and Barberton Citizens Hospital. Dr. Devine speaks Spanish fluently. In his leisure time he enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
